Nurturing Parenting for Parents of Children who have special needs

Raising children in today's world can be one of the most challenging, yet rewarding experiences faced by parents.

Parenting a child who has special needs can be even more challenging, and often times requires a different approach to parenting.

It can also be a struggle to be able to arrange childcare in order to attend workshops

Here at the Family Wellness Initiative, we are mindful of these issues, and we look forward to being able to offer parents, or other adult caregivers that live locally to the Roanoke Virginia area with helpful tips and techniques during virtual webinars to help make raising a child with special needs a little easier. Foster parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles are welcome to attend as well!

Family Wellness is blazing a trail to support parents, caregivers and even educators who care for a child with special needs.
