During the 7 sessions of this program a range of important topics will be discussed, including:

Understanding the different stages of your child’s brain development & resulting behavior(s)

Listening and talking WITH your children and problem solving

Identifying & Practicing your most effective parenting style

How to prepare for an effective parent teacher conference

Character Development- focusing on courage, mutual respect, decision making & cooperation

Emphasizing healthy lifestyles through family centered physical activities, healthy meal plans and recipes

Building Self-Esteem in the Early Years

Effective and Appropriate Discipline
Participation will include a 2 1/2 hour weekly classroom session, which will be supportive, honest, and thought-provoking. You will hear how other parents deal with concerns just like yours and be encouraged on how to deal and cope with the everyday concerns of being a parent to young children.
