Ages 5-12

Date:  April 20, 2021 - June 1, 2021 (Tuesday Evenings)

Time: 5:15-7:45pm

Location: Virtual through Zoom

During the 7 sessions of this program a range of important topics will be discussed, including:

  • Understanding the different stages of your child’s brain development & resulting behavior(s) 

  • Listening and talking WITH your children and problem solving

  • Identifying & Practicing your most effective parenting style

  • How to prepare for an effective parent teacher conference

  • Character Development- focusing on courage, mutual respect, decision making & cooperation

  • Emphasizing healthy lifestyles through family centered physical activities, healthy meal plans and recipes

  • Building Self-Esteem in the Early Years

  • Effective and Appropriate Discipline


Participation will include a 2 1/2 hour weekly classroom session, which will be supportive, honest, and thought-provoking. You will hear how other parents deal with concerns just like yours and be encouraged on how to deal and cope with the everyday concerns of being a parent to young children.
